As an addendum to my previous post, I want to add a quote by Joseph Campbell that many of you may be familiar with. None the less, I think it bears repeating:
“Follow your bliss.
If you do follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while
waiting for you, and the life you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don’t be afraid… and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be. If you follow
your bliss, doors will open for you that wouldn’t have opened for anyone else.”
–Joseph Campbell (1904-1987)
To drive home the point about truly living your dreams and therefore giving what you have to offer, I include the following simple but powerful Native American saying:
“Certain things catch your eye,
But pursue only those
that capture your heart.”
Blessings on your journey

Campbell’s quote always gives me a sense of renewal. It’s particularly useful as a kind of mental bridge between Taoism and Synchronicity.

I resonate with this quote and I’ve always liked Campbell.
Right now in my life I’m making great changes, for just this reason – I’m following my heart.
I’m quitting my job of 3.5 years and I’m going to Thailand for a month to join my fellow yogis (from all over the world) for our yearly yoga retreat.
This is scary but feels so good. When you do what you know is right for yourself, the universe supports you. This is exactly what I’m finding.
I’m also moving out of my house and putting everything in storage until I get back.
Its mad, but I feel so free. So… right.

Congratulations on following your bliss! I believe that every time someone does this they pave the way for more bliss. Blessings.
